Truth: The only way to get better at both… to get stronger at both… is to engage the specific movements that trigger the muscles used in those movements.
Truth: You will not get stronger at pull ups by doing the movements for sit ups or squats.

Truth: You will not get stronger at prayer or closer to God if you only do movements that focus on yourself like the classic… “why me why me”… if you continue to look down into the empty well of your incompleteness, instead of turning to face Jesus Christ, you will never see your name being written down in the Book of Life by his nail scarred hands.

Truth: Doing grip strength exercises helps to do pull ups… but only doing pull ups makes you stronger at doing pull ups.
Truth: The Bible is one big prayer book, but if you are weak in prayer movements right now… you can get very specific, rep by rep training, by reading a specific book in the Bible named The Book of Psalms… a book of poems and songs meant to be played by stringed instruments… as we move past Easter and acknowledging our risen Savior, let us get into heavier prayer and allow Gods Word to pluck our personal heartstrings making music that only we will “hear and feel”… our very own song making us stronger and bringing us closer to God.
See Psalm 51 for “excellent form” in personal prayer.
